Privacy Policy for OmniSpeech AI Detect™

OmniSpeech Inc. ("OmniSpeech", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you use AI Detect™ , our application available through the Zoom App Marketplace and other platforms.

By using AI Detect™ , you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

 

1. Information We Collect

When you install and use AI Detect™ , we may collect the following types of data:

 

a. Zoom User Information (via OAuth)

Upon Zoom app authorization, we collect:

• Zoom user ID

• Email address (if permission granted)

• User display name

• Zoom access tokens (with user permission)

• Meeting metadata (e.g., meeting ID, timestamps, user participation)
   

b. Audio Data

With your explicit consent, AI Detect™  may access audio streams or recorded audio segments (if allowed by your Zoom settings and permissions) for the purpose of AI-deepfake voice detection. This audio data is:

• Processed in-memory or via encrypted channels

• Not stored beyond what is required for real-time or batch processing unless you explicitly opt-in for storage (e.g., for audit or report purposes)
   

c. Technical and Usage Data

We may collect technical logs and usage statistics, including:

• IP address

• Device/browser information

• Feature usage and performance metrics

• Crash reports and error diagnostics
   

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following purposes:

• To perform AI-deepfake and voice authenticity detection

• To provide, maintain, and improve the AI Detect™  service

• To deliver user feedback and reporting (if applicable)

• To troubleshoot issues and enhance system performance

• To comply with legal obligations and protect user safety

We do not use your data for advertising or profiling purposes.
 

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share data only in these limited cases:

• Service Providers: Third-party vendors that support our infrastructure (e.g., cloud computing providers) under strict confidentiality and data protection agreements.

• Legal Requirements: When compelled by law, regulation, subpoena, or legal process.

• User Consent: When you explicitly opt-in to share data (e.g., submitting audio for research or diagnostics).
   

4. Data Retention

• Audio data may be retained to develop or optimize future version of AI Detect™.

• Zoom metadata and logs are retained only as long as necessary to support legitimate operational needs and are periodically purged.

• You may request data deletion at any time (see Section 8).
   

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• AES-256 encryption for data at rest

• TLS 1.2+ for data in transit

• Role-based access controls

• Regular security audits and vulnerability scans
   

6. User Controls and Choices

• You can revoke Zoom access at any time via your Zoom account settings.

• You can disable or uninstall the app at your discretion.

• You can request deletion of your personal data by contacting us (see Section 8).
   

7. Children’s Privacy

AI Detect™  is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or equivalent minimum age depending on jurisdiction).
 

8. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA Compliant)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

• Access your data

• Request correction or deletion

• Object to or restrict data processing

• Withdraw consent at any time

9. Zoom App Marketplace Compliance

OmniSpeech complies with Zoom’s App Marketplace requirements including:

• Transparent user data practices

• Explicit consent mechanisms before data access

• Revocation support via OAuth

• No use of Zoom data outside the scope of stated app functionality

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. You will be notified of material changes via in-app notifications or via email (if provided). Continued use of AI Detect™ after changes constitutes your agreement to the updated policy.
